Rhode Island Academic Decathlon would not be possible without our volunteers. The time, energy, and experience that you bring to our competition and share with our student decathletes is invaluable. Volunteer Information
Register to volunteer Consider volunteering as a Speech and/or Interview Judge, Essay Judge, or Student Aide. Please consider signing up for both Speech and Interview, thus becoming a “Super Judge.” Training is provided on competition day. Continental breakfast and lunch is provided to all judges. The times for which you can volunteer are as follows. Test Proctor: 9:00 am - 3:15 pm (training 8:30 - 9:00) Speech Judge: 9:00 am - 11:30 am (training: 9:00 – 9:45) Interview Judge: 12:15 pm - 3:00 pm (training 12:15 – 1:00) Timer/Aide: 9:00 am - 2:45 pm (training: 9:15 – 9:45) You are invited to stay for the Super Quiz competition, which will follow the afternoon Interview judging session at 4:30 pm. |
